African American Mental Health: A Student’s Perspective

Event Description:
Join CAPS in the Nautilus Chamber at University Commons on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. in welcoming UWF student and Founder of Speaks2Inspire, Abraham Sculley. He will share his personal story of overcoming mental health stigma, seeking help, and healing from depression. Sculley, a psychology major, will address resiliency and the stigma of mental illness in the African American community. Presentation will be followed by a moderated discussion by Dr. Cornelia Wenze.
