Event Description:

The Department of Theatre presents A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas by Charles Dickens with adaptation by Michael Wilson. Performances will be held December 7, 8, 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m. and December 9 and 16 at 2:30 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts, building 82, on the Pensacola campus.

Celebrating the 12th Anniversary of the Pensacola tradition. This theatrical and spirited version of A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas puts the phantasmagoric qualities of Charles Dickens' classic tale center stage. A swirling, dancing chorus of ghosts weaves through this uplifting holiday story of redemption, magic and hope. The play has been performed for almost a million people over the years at Houston's Alley Theatre, Hartford Stage and Washington, D.C.'s historic Ford's Theatre.

Tickets are $18 for adults; $14 for seniors and active military; $12 for UWF faculty, staff and alumni and high school students; and $7 for youth 18 and under. For more information or to purchase tickets call the CFPA Box Office at 850.857.6285 or visit uwf.edu/tickets.
