Memorial Day Observance
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

UWF Pensacola Campus

Please join us in celebrating and honoring our veterans and our freedom. Captain Marvel, from Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) at NAS Pensacola, will speak at the event. A reception and breakfast on the grounds will immediately follow the observance. 

The event will take place at the flagpole located between Buildings 10, 11 and 12.

Historic Pensacola Village Open House
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Historic Pensacola Village

The 22nd annual Historic Pensacola Village Open House will be held on June 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature free tours of the 1805 Lavalle House, 1805 Julee Cottage, 1871 Dorr House and the 1890 Lear-Rocheblave House. Visitors can  experience Pensacola history tracing years 1559 to 1945 in the Time Portal and run through an inflatable obstacle course.

The Open House will include access to the Museum of Commerce, Museum of Industry, T.T. Wentworth Jr. Florida State Museum and the Pensacola Children's Museum.

A West Florida Historic Preservation, Inc (WFHPI) Board of Directors Meeting will be held Monday, May 20, 2013 at Noon at the J. UFF and UWF Collective Bargaining Meeting
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

A United Faculty of Florida and UWF Collective Bargaining Meeting will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in Building 11 (CAS), Room 219 of the UWF main campus. The purpose of the meeting will be to negotiate a collective bargaining agreement. Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to attend this meeting is requested to advise UWF by contacting the UWF ADA Office at Ext. 7469 at least 48 hours before the meeting. "Arts Across the Ages" sponsored by the UWF Center on Aging

The University of West Florida Center on Aging will be hosting the 2013 Arts and Aging event in the UWF Fine and Performing Arts Center on Friday, June 7, 2013.  Local artists, music, lectures and a reception will highlight the program.  This year's program is entitled "Arts across the Ages" and will include faculty presentations from the Center on Aging, UWF Art Department and the UWF Archaeology Institute.

AFSCME Bargaining Meeting

An American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Bargaining Meeting will be held Thursday, June 13, 2013, at 10 a.m. in the Human Resources Conference Room (Building 20E, Room 113) of the UWF main campus. The purpose of the meeting will be to negotiate a collective bargaining agreement.
