Event Description:
The Pensacola Literacy Symposium: See the Beauty in Books event features keynote speaker and Newbery Medal-winning author Matt de la Peña. In addition to the keynote presentation, attendees may select two professional development sessions. Pre-K, elementary, and secondary options will be available. Registration is $20.00. Please register for the event on the Early Learning Coalition site: www.elcescambia.org. Click on the appropriate link on the left tab. The event is sponsored by the UWF College of Education and Professional Studies, Institute for Innovative Community Learning, Early Learning Coalition of Escambia County, and the Northwest Florida Association for the Education of Young Children.
