Event Description:
Join us for the lecture, "The Dangers of Living in Ancient Rome: Floods, Fires, Famine, Filth, and Fevers," with Dr. Greg Aldrete, of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Dr. Aldrete, Professor of History and Humanistic Studies, has published extensively on Greco-Roman classical history, and on daily life in the Roman world and the city of Rome. The lecture will be held in the Music Hall of UWF's Center for Fine and Performing Arts, Building 82, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Preceding the lecture will be a reception in the lobby of Building 82, at 6:30 p.m.
