Celebrating Our Ancestors will begin on Friday, October 25, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Museum of Commerce with a book talk with Joseph McGill Jr, Founder and Executive Director of the Slave Dwelling Project, and Herb Frazier about their book Sleeping with the Ancestors: How I Followed the Footprints of Slavery. A reception with the authors and book signing will begin at 5 p.m. followed by the program at 6 p.m.
This event is event and open to the public. Pre-registration is encouraged.
