Career Week 2025 continues with the Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering on Wednesday, February 19, from noon to 3 p.m. in Building 4.

Career Week is a week dedicated to providing students and alumni with industry-specific networking opportunities with employers. This event connects students in construction management, engineering, math, science and technology majors with regional employers looking to fill internship, full-time employment or Co-op positions. This event conveniently takes place in Building 4, making it easy to visit with employers before, after, or between classes.

Set yourself up for success! Follow these guidelines to impress employers:

  • Business casual or business professional attire is expected.
  • Bring multiple copies of your résumé for employers, students who cannot attend in-person will be given an option to participate in our Resume-Drop. Please email Alex Miller at amiller7@uwf.edu for more information.
  • Research employers before the event so you can ask insightful and relevant questions.

Need a resume review before the event or advice about how to make a great impression during a career fair? No problem! You can make an appointment in Handshake to meet with one of our career coaches (virtually or in-person) or visit us for drop-in hours. Drop-in hours are held in Career Development and Community Engagement (Building 19) every Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (holidays and University closures may impact these hours). You're welcome to calll us at 850.474.2254 or email us at career@uwf.edu for further assistance.
