Dr. Trevor Courtney earned his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder. He is currently a Scientist Manager with SAIC, where he works in close collaboration with the Air Force Research Laboratory. Dr. Courtney’s research focuses on nonlinear optical phenomena, including stimulated Raman scattering from gases in antiresonant hollowcore optical fibers.
His work advances the development of high-powered infrared sources designed for applications in LiDAR, contributing to next-generation sensing and remote detection technologies.
