Join the Florida Public Archaeology Network on Wednesday, December 11, for a free guided hiking tour exploring the fascinating archaeological resources of Northwest Florida, with a focus on the preserve's rich Native American heritage and how the local flora and fauna was utilized for thousands of years. This tour is for participants ages 13 and up, and those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

During the tour, you'll uncover the stories of Native American history in the region and discover what archaeology reveals about pre-contact sites. Learn how we can work together to preserve and protect these irreplaceable cultural treasures for future generations. Spaces are limited to 20 participants, so reserve your spot today and get ready to connect with the rich cultural history of the area!
