#UWFExperience a powerful theatrical reenactment of the landmark 1965 Cambridge Union debate between James Baldwin and William F. Buckley Jr., presented by The American Vicarious and hosted by the UWF Academy of American Civic Republicanism. The two renowned thinkers faced off over the resolution, “The American Dream Is at the Expense of the American Negro,” in a debate that continues to resonate today.
Performances will take place in the Besser Studio Theatre at the UWF Center for Fine and Performing Arts on Thursday, September 10, and Friday, September 11, and at Old Christ Church on Saturday, September 12.
