About this Event
Building 71, Campus Drive, Pensacola, FL 32514
Discover Etegami, a Japanese art form that blends painting and words on a hand-painted postcard, on Sunday, October 19, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Japan House in the International Center (Building 71) on the UWF Pensacola campus.
We’ll paint pumpkins using black ink and Japanese watercolor paints (gansai) to create your own warm and seasonal artwork. No sketching, no perfect lines — just paint freely and enjoy the moment!
No experience needed – anyone can join! A creative way to explore Japanese culture and celebrate the season.
Ages 10 and up are welcome. Free of charge – all materials will be provided. Advance registration via Google Forms is required.
We look forward to seeing you there!
