https://libguides.uwf.edu/calendar #UWFA peaceful lake with plenty of opportunities for fishing, boating, and other recreation is enough to attract anyone. But what happens when that man-made lake decides that it has reached its fill. Join librarian Travis Souther on Wednesday, October 7, at 6 p.m. for an interactive presentation on the story and the physics behind one of the worst disasters in US History – a catastrophe that forever changed the way we approach civil engineering.
The presentation is part of the Forces of Nature, Failures of Man Tech Library series. The event will be held at the UWF Tech Campus Library in the Student Government Association room.
