Under the direction of Dr. Sean Kelley, the Symphonic Band will perform a variety of pieces featuring programmatic works on topics of war, oppression, hope, and salvation on Wednesday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts (Building 82) on the UWF Pensacola campus.

Opening the program is "Without Warning," by Stephen Melillo, followed by "Largo" from Dvorak's celebrated Ninth Symphony, "From the New World," and "Music for Prague, 1968" by Czechoslovakian composer Karel Husa. Closing the concert is "Chester," a battle hymn written by America's first composer, WIlliam Billings.
