Get Ready to Send It! It’s the annual PCola Rockola “Start Your Belaytionship” Top Rope Comp! Join Outdoor Adventures (OA) for a high-energy day filled with fresh routes, big sends, and friendly competition! Whether you’ve never competed before or climb every week, this event is for you.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, this is a doubles competition—so grab your favorite climbing buddy and come ready to crush!

Need a partner? No worries—we usually have a few solo climbers, and if not, an OA staff member will happily join your team. OA staff and volunteers will be belaying throughout the event, so you do not need to be belay certified to participate.

This event is open to all (ages 16+ to keep the climbing level fair)—join us for a fun day on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the UWF Climbing Center in Building 72. *Community members: your day pass is included in the comp fee—no extra charge!

Here's how it works: We’ll kick off at 12:30 PM for warm up and time to check out the walls. At 12:50 PM, we’ll review the rules, and at 1:00 PM, the comp officially begins! You’ll have first access to all-new routes set across the center. Each climber receives a comp card and gets three attempts per route (with a time limit once your climb begins). You and your partner will climb the same routes, and your combined points will determine your team score. Divisions include Open and Recreational. Judges will tally scores throughout the day, with winners announced at 4:50 PM—and yes, there will be awesome prizes! No matter your skill level, this is your chance to challenge yourself, try new climbs, and connect with an encouraging climbing community.
