View mapThe Military and Veterans Resource Center invites the campus and local community to honor our student and local veterans during the UWF Veterans Day Observance on Wednesday, November 6, at 11:30 a.m. in the UWF Conference Center (Building 22). Additionally, UWF student veterans are invited to complete the MVRC's veteran student form in advance to share what being a veteran means to them.
About the guest speaker: Col. Tim Moore, USAF (retired), dedicated more than 35 years to public service as an Air Force test pilot and later as a foreign service officer with USAID. He holds a B.S. and M.A. in physics and an M.S. in National Resource Strategy. He is also a certified Senior Program Manager (FAC-P/PM) and a Contract Professional (FAC-C). Moore volunteers as an American Legion officer and president of the James L. Dozier Lee Coast Military Officers Association of America Chapter.
